Southern West Virginia is jam-packed with quality Class AA teams. Shady Spring is one of them, but has also gone up against quite a few of them.

The Tigers are 3-5, but losses have gone to the likes of Oak Hill, Bluefield and Woodrow Wilson. All three of those teams are ranked in the AP polls, plus Woodrow Wilson is in Class AAA.

It doesn't get much easier for the Tigers. Next up is a road contest at Westside. The Renegades are ranked sixth in Class AA.
