Virginia Tech running back David Wilson is heading to the NFL. The ACC Player of the Year announced at a press conference Friday.

Wilson rushed for 1,709 yards and nine touchdowns this year. In the Sugar Bowl against Michigan, he racked up 82 yards.

Wilson isn't the first Hokie to announce he's skipping his senior season. Cornerback Jayron Hosley said he's entering the draft as well. Last season, Hosley led the nation with nine interceptions.
