Wyoming East started the season ranked No. 1 in Class AA. The Warriors fell in the season opener to Capital. Since then, their record has been flawless.

It will be a clash of No. 1 vs. No. 2 Friday night when Bluefield hosts Wyoming East at Bluefield State College. The Beavers are 8-0. The Warriors are 6-1.

Both these teams believe they have excellent shots to make it to Charleston for the state tournament. This game will feel like it's a playoff contest.
