On paper, it looked like a good contest. Midland Trail was ranked fourth in Class A with an 8-0 mark. Meadow Bridge was ranked 10^th with a 6-1 record.

But the Patriots used a 32-9 fourth quarter to prevail 68-38 in Hico. Casey Kessler led the way with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Jordan Burdette chimed in with 16 points.

Midland Trail is now 9-0 and hosts Fayetteville tomorrow, while Meadow Bride takes on Mercer Christian Academy tomorrow as well.
