
The Concord Lady Mountain Lions took care of business this afternoon with a 75-57 win.
Jolysa Brown led the team with 19 points and 17 rebounds. Camisha Alexander added 16 points, while Amanda Smith and Andrea Bertrand each added 12.
Concord shot 48% from the floor and 67% from behind the arc.
The team is now 12-3 overall with a 9-2 mark in the WVIAC. Next up is a home bout on Wednesday, January 17 against Davis & Elkins.
While the women won, the men fell to Jesuit, 92-80.
Javaughn Manuel exploded for 35 points, while Mike Boyd added 10. The team made just nine of 25 attempts from behind the arc.
CU is now 8-7 with a 5-6 mark in the conference. The men are back at home against Davis & Elkins on Wednesday as well.
