BECKLEY -

Brian Nabors attended Woodrow Wilson High School from 1990-93. He was a part of two-state championship teams. After high school, he played basketball at the University of Charleston. He's been an assistant coach on the varsity team and the head coach of the junior varsity squad for six years.

Gene Nabors is Brian's younger brother. Gene enrolled at Beckley High in 1992. After graduating, he attended LSU before heading to Robert Morris. Nabors then headed overseas with stints in Israel, Finland, Portugal and Sweden. He's been coaching at Woodrow for five years.

The two brothers have helped lead Beckley to an undefeated start.

Now, both of them are coaching Donte Nabors. Donte is Gene's son. He's on the varsity squad as a sophomore.
