
In a tightly-contested game, No. 4 Wyoming East came out on top with a 59-55 win.
No. 6 Oak Hill started the game with an initial surge, only to see its lead diminish. At half, the Warriors held a 23-20 edge.
At the end of the third quarter, the Red Devils composed a run to take a small lead. The two battled it out until overtime was needed.
The Warriors outlasted Oak Hill in the extra session.
Marcus Schofield led Wyoming East with 21 points. The Warriors improve to 8-1 and host No. 1 Woodrow Wilson, from Class AAA, on Saturday.
Jalen Jones contributed 20 for the Red Devils. Oak Hill is now 5-3 and visits Braxton County on Saturday.
