HINTON -

Shortly after midnight on Jan. 22, a house caught fire in Hinton on 4th Avenue.

Assistant Fire Chief Steve Pack tells 59News a dryer caught fire in one home and it quickly escalated.

By the time fire crews arrived the house was fully engulfed.

The house adjacent to the burning home also caught fire and was a complete loss.

Surrounding homes suffered damage as well.

Hinton City Fire Department, Summers County Volunteer Fire Department and Pipestem Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.

No one was injured in the fire.

The Citizen Emergency Response Team was also on standby.
