Bub's Cycle Cruises into a New Location

Posted: Updated:

Bub's Cycle Center has been a local fixture in the Raleigh County community for more than 60 years and the dealership will be moving into a new building and joining into a new partnership.

The dealership is currently in Crab Orchard, but it will be moving just a mile away on Robert Byrd Drive into the old Gray's Lumber building in MacArthur.

Matt McCormick is partnering with Bub's Cycle Center owner Buster Jones. McCormick had worked with Suzuki for the last seven years, and he said the new location is in a prime spot being directly across from the Wal-Mart.

"It's been a lot of work, but it should pay off," added McCormick.

The new space is said to allow the business to carry more inventory, be more accessible for customers, and provide more parking. "This is what I've done all my life. It's time to make it a little bigger for better service for our customers," said Jones.

Jones and his employees will begin moving into the new building in February. The grand opening will take place in April.

Bub's Cycle first opened in Raleigh County in 1946.
