ATHENS -

The last time Concord and No. 2 West Liberty met, the Hilltoppers won by 29 points.

It was a different story today at the Carter Center, but the end result was the same.

The Mountain Lions led 49-48 at half, but ultimately fell 103-98.

Javaughn Manuel scored 26 points for CU. Cory Willard added 20. The team drops to 10-8 overall and 7-7 in the WVIAC.

The Mountain Lions host WV Wesleyan on Wednesday.
