ATHENS -
In a close contest, Concord seemed to have the edge down the stretch.
Up four points with less than a minute remaining, West Liberty stormed back with a three-pointer. CU then turned the ball over on the inbounds play and the Hilltoppers scored to take a one-point lead with four seconds left.
The Lady Mountain Lions missed the buzzer-beater for an 80-79 loss.
Jolysa Brown scored 28 points and added 12 rebounds and Andrea Bertrand chimed in with 18 points.
West Liberty beat CU by two points earlier in the year.
CU drops to 14-4 overall and 11-3 in the WVIAC. Next up is a home contest on Wednesday against WV Wesleyan.
