Chase Connor did all he could be Shady Spring-but it wasn't enough, losing to Bluefield, 103-81.

Connor, who just eclipsed the 1,000-point mark as a junior, scored 32 points in the losing effort. The Tigers drop to 6-8 and host Graham on Wednesday.

No. 1 Bluefield was led by Anthony Eades with 27 points. Harley Trimble chipped in 20 and KJ Manns added 14. The Rams improve to 14-0 and visit Summers County on Wednesday.
