It didn't take long for Fayetteville to take commanding lead of its game against Montcalm.

The Pirates lead from start to finish in its 79-23 win in the Armory.

Brandon Mathis led Fayetteville with 18 points and Taylor Tabit chipped in 16. The Pirates are now 6-8 and take on No. 3 Midland Trail in the Class A championship on Wednesday at 9:00 p.m.

The Generals were led by Jacob Lambert's six points. Montcalm is now 2-11 and takes on Buffalo Wednesday in the Class A consolation.
