According to British researchers, cases of STD's have doubled for people between 45 and 64 years old in the last ten years.

Scientists have not pin pointed a reason for the increase but say a high number of men on erectile dysfunction drugs are getting infections.

They also say physical changes in post menopausal women make them more vulnerable to STD's.
