Since that point in January, the Cougars have won six straight and are now 18-6. One big reason is defense. The team leads the NAIA in blocks, rebounding margin and defensive rebounds.

MSU finishes off a three-game road trip on Saturday against Life. It'll be back at home next Thursday against Voorhees
