Bluefield, the No. 1 team in Class AA, beat Princeton earlier in the year on Ralph Ball Court in Princeton.
This time, it was a different story.
The Beavers started the game on a 10-2 run, and went into halftime up 33-18, but the Tigers didn't give up and pulled out the 53-51 win.
Ryan Meadows exploded in the second half and finished with 19 points for the Tigers. Princeton has now won eight of its last 10 and improves to 9-5. The Tigers take on Hurricane on Saturday.
Bluefield was led by 20 points from Anthony Eades. The Beavers drop to 15-1 and visit PikeView on Tuesday.
