In an emotionally-charged, and physical game, No. 4 Wyoming East built up a 10-point lead, then held on to beat No. 2 Tug Valley, 53-50.

The Warriors handed Tug Valley just its second loss of the season, and first one from a team in West Virginia.

It was a balanced scoring attack for the Warriors. Marcus Schofield led the squad with 11 points, while Austin Canada and Taylor each added 10. Luke Campbell scored 9 points.

Wyoming East improves to 11-4 and visits Shady Spring on Tuesday.
