Just one day after taking down No. 1 Martinsburg, No. 5 Woodrow Wilson appeared poised to hoist the Big Atlantic Classic AAA Trophy. The Flying Eagles went into the half up 28-19.

In the second half, No. 6 Morgantown outscored Beckley by 14, on its way to a 53-48 win.

Christian Day led the Flying Eagles with 10 points, while Ta-Ron Ayers added 9.

The loss drops Woodrow to 12-3. The Flying Eagles host St. Albans on Wednesday.
