BECKLEY -

Mountain State University is set to hold a financial aid workshop Thursday, Feb. 9, to help current and future college students wade through the flood of paperwork and jargon commonly associated with obtaining student financial aid.

Starting at 6 p.m., JoAnn Ross, Director of Financial Aid at MSU will lead a workshop covering topics such as completing the FAFSA form, cost of attendance, need-based financial aid and expected family contributions.

The Workshop will take place in the John W. Eye Conference Center on South Kanawha Street in Beckley. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation. The workshop is open to all students, regardless of their higher education destination, as well as the general public.
