
No. 1 Bluefield rebounded from its first loss of the season with a 103-61 win over PikeView.
Six Beavers scored at least 10 points. DJ Edwards led the team with 20 points, Anthony Eades added 19 and Lykel Collier chimed in with 18 points and 17 assists. Bluefield improves to 16-1 and hosts Scott on Friday.
No. 3 Wyoming East kept rolling after winning the Big Atlantic Classic, with a 77-63 win over Shady Spring.
Marcus Schofield led the charge for the Warriors, scoring 22 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Luke Campbell contributed 21 points. Wyoming East is now 12-4 and visits No. 9 Westside on Friday.
Shady Spring was led by 19 points from Chase Connor and Jacob Buckland. The Tigers are 8-9 and host PikeView on Friday.
