
When Summers County met up with Scott in January, the Lady Bobcats were seeking their 106th-straight win.
Instead, the Lady Skyhawks handed Summers County a 17-point loss and took over the top spot in Class AA.
Tonight in Hinton, the third-ranked Bobcats returned the favor, upsetting No. 1 Scott, 58-54.
Summers County was down seven at half and down 12 after the third quarter. But the team responded and outscored the Skyhawks by 16 in the final quarter.
Candace Brown paced the squad with 31 points and 10 rebounds, while Brandy Morrison added 15 points and grabbed 12 boards.
The win improves the Bobcats to 15-5. Summers County visits Clay County on Tuesday.
