Valentines Day maybe all hearts and chocolates, but for some it's the business of roses and a busy one at that.
Flowers By Nancy in Beckley was buzzing with activity the days leading up to one of the shops busiest money making holidays.
Lauren Weppler learned this first hand when she had to Trade Places at the florist. Weppler first began processing the flowers. She had to unwrap, cut and place the flowers into water to prepare the blooms for an arraignment.
Ronnie Sturgill along with his wife Nancy own and operate the shop and for him it's much different than his last job, ""I just enjoy it. I worked in the coal mines for 26 years."
Sturgill showed Weppler how to properly process the flowers and start an actual flower arraignment.
Nancy the head florist had some advice for my arraignment, "She's got to be a little smoother, but she's doing pretty well."
