Hearts decorated the Mercer County Commission on Aging, however, it was for more then just yesterdays holiday.
This morning nearly 200 seniors participated in the annual Happy Hearts Day, an event focusing on the importance of heart health.
As part of the celebration, many vendors were set up to help with any questions regarding heart health and health in general.
Director Sandra Graham said the event is not only fun, but also educational.
"The vendors are all related to your health," said Graham.
"Be it your health at home or perhaps assisted living or long term care."
As part of the celebration a heart healthy lunch was served and entertainment was also provided.
Graham said she was thrilled with the turn out, and that it has been growing in popularity ever year.
