With the postseason approaching, Bluefield is doing what it can to make sure it's prepared and ready to go.

The Beavers travel to James Monroe on Friday, before facing rival Princeton on Saturday.

Bluefield's 18-1 mark has them ranked No. 1 in Class AA. Its lone loss came to Princeton. The Beavers led by as much as 17 in that contest.

Sophomore David Edwards says the squad has fared so well because of team chemistry.
