L&S Toyota showed its commitment to the community on Friday, Feb. 17 by making a pair of donations to charitable organizations in southern West Virginia.
Hospice of Southern West Virginia received a $7,500 check. That money will go to help fund the programs offered by the organization, which Executive Director Janet Green says are provided regardless of a family's ability to pay.
"We really can't thank L&S Toyota enough for their kindness and support. The team at L&S Toyota continues to prove they are true leaders in our community," said Green. "Hospice relies on the generosity of local businesses and individuals to help us care for those who need our services."
The donations didn't stop with Hospice, L&S also presented a check for $5,000 to the United Way of Southern West Virginia, which provides support to more than 30 non-profit programs in Raleigh Fayette, Summers and Wyoming Counties.
"The donation will begin our fundraising efforts for the 2012/13 annual campaign," said United Way Executive Director Margaret O'Neal. "Plus, it's a pleasure to see one of our agency partners also receive a donation."
