No. 9 Mountain State needed a full 40 minutes to beat No. 14 Lee, 83-82.

Devon Peterson scored 12 points, including the game-winning free throw with three seconds remaining, to lift the Cougars.

Isaiah Hill led the team with 23 points and Quentin Thomas added 13 points.

Mountain State improves to 22-7 and returns home for a contest against Emmanual on Tuesday.
