While some dig their way out of snow this Presidents Day Weekend, travelers will be digging into their wallets.
"Oh my gosh," said traveler Kerrie Reed.
"It's like everyday you go to get gas and it's up and up and up."
For those hitting the road this holiday weekend, they'll notice the price of fuel is higher then ever for this time of year.
The national average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline is $3.55, up 39 cents from last year's AAA report, and there may not be relief in sight any time soon.
Experts say they could reach a record $4.25 a gallon by late April.
"It's not right, it's not right, some ones making to much money out their," said Crystal Volk in Beckley.
"Our pay checks aren't going up but gas prices keep going up!"
