Open heart ministries of Bluefield will host a "chicken
wing-ding dinner" Friday, February, 24, to raise funds for its homeless haven
ministry.
The dinner will include 3 whole chicken wings, green beans,
potato salad, desert and soda. Dine-in patrons can pick up their food at the
Internet care located at 415 Federal Street
in Bluefield, WV.
Service starts at 11 a.m.
and continues through 4 p.m. Local
delivery is available. Dinners are $7.50 per plate, and all proceeds go to Open
Heart Ministries, which has recently acquired a property in Bluefield
that it hopes to convert to a homeless shelter.
Open Heart Ministries is a Christian-based non-profit
community alliance dedicated to assisting temporarily homeless people
regardless of age, color, race or religious affiliation.
