They're not on a "Mission from God" this time, but the Blues Brothers are coming to southern West Virginia to entertain crowds.
The Official Blues Brothers Revue is set to hit the stage at the Chuck Mathena Center in Princeton on Monday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. The blues show is sanctioned by Dan Aykroyd and the John Belushi estate.
After auditioning more than 400 performers, Aykroyd and John Belushi's widow, Judith, hand-picked veteran blues artists Wayne Catania and Kieron Lafferty to play Jake and Elwood Blues.
According to a release from the Chuck Mathena Center, the show faithfully recreates the magic of the Blues Brothers including the music, comic antics and affectionate character quirks that made blues fans out of millions of rockers in the '70s and '80s.
