Call for Art to Celebrate West Virginia's Sesquicentennial

Posted: Updated:

The Division of Culture and History is asking for submissions all around the Mountain State for the Sesquicentennial Snapshot Contest.

Artists and non-artists alike are encouraged to send in their best shoot of historical sites of value to the Sesquicentennial.

The program is open to all who want to participate. They simply need to take photos around their county and submit them to the Division of Culture and History.
Please email all submissions to c.tyler.evert@wv.gov and they will be posted on wvsnapshot.blogspot.com.

Finalists will be included in the WV 150 display at the Culture Center and featured in a special edition of Goldenseal with other works related to the Sesquicentennial.

What a way to celebrate 150  years of greatness.
