Although the week started off rainy, the weather broke long enough for some golfers in Fayette County to play a round for a good cause.

The Youth Museum of Southern WV welcomes a new exhibit.
"Once Upon a Time" is inspired by fairytales and brings children's favorite stories to life.
Some other special events include, Toddler Thursdays, where toddlers are invited to come play in fairytale land, read some stories and sing songs with mom, dad or caregiver. Also there is an art project with some magic and fairy dust. Every Thursday for six weeks. Feb.23 - March 29, ages 18 months - 3 years are welcome to join.
Another special even for the children are textiles and fun. Painting, layering and embellishing are techniques children can use to create a unique wall hanging, pillow case/cover, bed scarf and table runner/placemats. Every Thursday for six weeks. Feb. 23 - March 29 children ages 6 - 12 years are invited to join the Museum at 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm.
