BECKLEY -
Gourmet foods aren't
what most have in mind when sitting down to eat in a bus station, but a new
restaurant is working to change all that.
Dobra Zupas on third avenue in Beckley specializes in gourmet
sandwiches and soups.
According to the new
owner, Rebecca Zupanick, the restaurant uses natural ingredients to make
healthy cuisine for customers.
Earlier
today, she weighed in on what separates Zupas from other restaurants in the
area.
"I just think we
need to have more choices on restaurants other than fast food chains. We hope
our patrons can come in, place an order, and be served quickly, and they won't
have to use their whole break for lunch."
Zupanick says her best
seller right now is the Artichoke Melt.
At
present, the restaurant is only open for lunch, but by Spring, Zupas hopes to
be open for dinner.
