A Founders' Day and Convocation of Scholars event is planned at Concord University coming up next week.
In 2012 the University is celebrating "The Year of the Alumni" for it's 140th Anniversary. The Founders' Day event is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. in the main theatre of the Alexander Fine Arts Center. The keynote speaker is West Virginia Attorney, Robert E. Holroyd.
As a part of the event, there will be an unveiling of the Holroyd Hall site marker. A reception will be held immediately afterward in the Fine Arts Lobby.
