Students at Alderson Elementary School are getting to see the real meaning behind the concept of "Going Green" during the school's sustainability week.

New River Community and Technical College is inviting West Virginians to learn how to cut their energy bill in half.
A class called "Money in Your Pocket – Cut Your Energy Bill in Half," will show people how to save significant amounts on their home and business energy bills. Students will also learn about employment opportunities in the energy field.
The free class will be offered in Rainelle Town Hall Council Room on Wednesday, Feb. 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. is open to homeowners, renters, and the business community.
"This is the first of many community education courses that New River may offer to bring to Rainelle," said Rainelle Mayor Andrea Pendleton. "I plan to attend this class and encourage others to take advantage of this opportunity."
