Preparing your spring gardens with mulch in March will also benefit
non-profit organizations around the area.
Control Products, Inc. will be raising money for the United
Way of Southern West Virginia
by encouraging people to "Buy Mulch in March." CPI
Owner, Greg Ducal said they will donate $.50 for every cubic yard of mulch sold
next month to the United Way.
In 2011, that led to a $1,800 donation. They are hoping to nearly double
that number this year.
"We appreciate CPI and Mr. Ducal for
giving us this opportunity again this year," said United Way Executive
Director, Margaret O'Neal. "We love that Control Products thinks outside
the box in how to use their donation to benefit non-profits in our
community. With more locations and new colors, our goal this year to raise
$3,500 for the United Way."
Control Products, Inc. has locations in Beckley,
Daniels, Princeton and White Sulphur Springs. This
year they are offering a new color "Chocolate Brown." The
company also has decorative stone and gravel for landscaping.
