A Wayne County man is hospitalized after being was run over by his own tractor.

Pritchard Volunteer Firefighters told 13 News the farmer was apparently standing beside the big machine, started it, and it rolled over his leg.

Rescuers say the soft ground kept the victim from being injured too badly.

He was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, but his injuries aren't considered life threatening.
