Now to developing news from the Boy Scouts of America's countdown to next years national Jamboree in Mount Hope.
An informational meeting on licensing and trademark use was held today at Glad Springs in Daniels.
It's all in an effort to help local manufacturers and businesses better understand how to use the Boy Scout marks when creating and selling products.
We want to make sure folks are doing the right thing. Folks have the opportunities to sell a product that bears the Boy Scout mark, protect our brand and it helps make sure they are producing products that meet the quality standards of our organization," David Harkins with the Boy Scouts said.
The organization manages more than One-hundred and fifty trademarks.
50-thousand scouts and hundreds-of-thousands of tourists are expected at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in Fayette County for the jamboree next year.
