The following is a press release from the Bluefield Blue Jays:

On June 17, 2012 at 3:00pm local time, the Bluefield Blue Jays will be in preseason
action verse the Lexington Chops of the CVCL (Carolina Virginia Collegiate League). The
Chops are a summer wooden bat team featuring college players. The exhibition game is the
first of its kind in Bluefield history. The game is FREE admission for everyone; donations are
greatly appreciated as all proceeds go to renovations for Bowen Field.

The general manager of the Chops, Thomas Eaton, explains the significance of
playing a minor league team. "It is a great opportunity for our players to see how they
compare to minor league players and to witness the hard work and sacrifice that it takes to
get to the next level after college. We have a great group of young men who are all excited
to play at historic Bowen Field. It will be a great game and a fun day at the ballpark."

Bluefield Blue Jay's general manager, Chris Maxwell, reflects on the upcoming
preseason game. "This will give folks a first glimpse of our 2012 team and allow us the
opportunity to raise some money for improvements here at the ballpark so we can maintain
a first rate experience for our fans."

The Bluefield Blue Jays are the advanced rookie affiliates of the Toronto Blue Jays.
