As one local man's court case moves on after a preliminary hearing, his brother is arrested.

Officials said Anthony Johnson of Beckley has been arrested and charged with intimidation of a witness in a case pending against his brother.

If you remember, Anthony's brother Nicholas Jamar Johnson, 20 years-old of Beckley is charged with the murder of Terez Blackman on December 31, 2011 in Beckley.

Detective Bragg with the Beckley Police Department says the police take threatening a witness very seriously.

"This is very serious. We want to show that we take this thing very seriously and witnesses are so important to our cases Basically we want to make it a point it will not be tolerated," Detective Bragg said.

Detective Bragg said Anthony Johnson made threatening comments through social media.
