ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - An
upstate New York woman charged with arson and manslaughter in connection
with a fire that killed four of her children reportedly told
investigators the blaze started when she set pictures of her boyfriend
on fire inside her house.
The Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester reports Monday that 31-year-old Bobbie Kugler told police she tossed
the burning photos on a dresser filled with combustible materials. The
newspaper says the account is contained in a felony complaint charging
Kugler with fourth-degree arson and four counts of second-degree
manslaughter.
Kugler was arrested Friday
and has pleaded not guilty. She's being held in Monroe County Jail on
$300,000 bail. She's due in Rochester City Court on Wednesday.
