Something new is now open at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.
After some renovations, the lobby and a new endoscopy unit is now open.
Hospital administrators say the additions will bring a lot of benefits to patients.
"Today's endoscopy opening signifies an advancement in endoscopy care that we're going to be able to provide here in our region to the people in this community so its really all about the folks that live here in this region and the care we can provide here at home," said Bill Hawley, BRMC CEO.
The renovations cost more than a million dollars.
An open house and a business after hours is going on Tuesday night at the hospital.
