LEWISBURG -

This weekend, April 21, marks the season opening of the Greenbrier Valley Farmer's Market. Locally grown produce, plants, eggs, meats and baked goods will be on hand for all to enjoy.

The farmers market will run from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. every Saturday, as well as Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 7. The market is located at the intersection of Route 219 and Arbuckle Lane in downtown Lewisburg.

One of the attractions that will be joining the market on opening day should be easy to spot. Look for the bright pink trailer where Erin Bowes, owner of B Sweet Confectionary, willl be selling her warm cinnamon rolls, fresh scones, cupcakes and other pastry treats.

B Sweet Confectionary will also be offering coffee and lemonade that can be enjoyed at the business's café-style seating.
