State officials are proposing raising various taxes, including those on cigarettes, in order to raise money to repair the damaged highways.
An alleged child molester has turned himself in to West Virginia State Police in Kanawha County.
Troopers said Kenneth Fraker, 56, of Eskdale, turned himself in on Wednesday morning. Police said the intense media coverage of the search, pressured Fraker into turning himself in.
Fraker is accused of molesting several male juveniles in several counties in the state.
State Police put out a 'be on the lookout' warning on Fraker Monday. He was believed to be traveling to Raleigh County.
