Just For Kids, Inc. will be holding an open house and ribbon cutting on Tuesday, April 24th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at their new office at 129 Main Street, Suite 406 in Uptown Beckley.
The facility is located on the fourth floor of the United Bank Building. The ribbon cutting and open house is being held in part of Child Abuse Prevention Month and to celebrate the opening of the new space.
The Board of Directors at Just For Kids, Scott Miller, invites the community for light refreshments and tours of the new facility. The ribbon cutting will take place at 12:30.
"Our new office provides more space for children and families, child friendly play areas and confidential areas for the work that we conduct." said Scott Miller. "We want the community to understand the importance of providing a safe and friendly facility for children who are experiencing the trauma of child abuse."
Founded in 2002, Just For Kids works with hundreds of children in Raleigh, Fayette, and Wyoming counties each year who are experiencing sexual abuse in their lives.
