Emergency responders were called to the scene of a train accident on Monday, May 20. A person was apparently hit by a CSX train in a remote part of Fayette County. The call came in at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim was apparently covering her head with a blanket to shelter from the heavy rain storms.

West Virginia students and U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin plan to attend an event that addresses crime prevention, substance abuse and bullying in schools.
The Operation Reach Out event is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon on the State Capitol grounds. Some of the scheduled workshops for students address texting, cyberbullying and Internet safety; relationship abuse; and the effects of alcohol and drug use.
This year's Operation Reach Out is the 12th annual event.
