BECKLEY -

The tear down of the final building destroyed by the fire on January 2 will begin on Saturday, April 28.

The Public Works Department in Beckley is closing down Neville Street from Woodlawn Avenue starting at 7 a.m. on Friday, April 27.  The street is being closed to bring in the equipment that will be used to demolish the building.  That should arrive at around 8:30 a.m. of Friday.

The demolition will be done on Saturday and Sunday.  Officials with Public Works said that the street will be closed until all the debris can be removed.
