A man is arrested and charged with unlawful wounding after a stabbing in Fayette County.
Sheriff's deputies took Michael Christian, of Mount Carbon, into custody Monday night.
Deputies had responded to a stabbing in the Powellton area around 9 p.m.
The victim, Lon Pettry, of Kimberly, suffered multiple stab wounds to the chest and arm.
He is recovering at Montgomery General Hospital.
Deputies say the two men were involved in an argument and it is unclear right now if there were drugs or alcohol involved.
Christian was charged with unlawful wounding and is being held in the Southern Regional Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
