Unemployment falls again in West Virginia

Unemployment has fallen again in West Virginia.

According to WorkForce West Virginia, the state's jobless rate in March was 7.4 percent.  That's down more than half a percentage point from February's 8.2 percent unemployment rate.

WorkForce West Virginia says unemployment fell in 53 of the state's 55 counties.  The rate rose slightly in Morgan County, and Berkeley County's rate stayed the same.

Hancock County has the state's highest unemployment rate at 12.9 percent, while Monongalia County has the lowest at 4.4 percent.
