Operators at the Fayette County 911 center have confirmed that police responded to an armed robbery late Tuesday night.
Authorities said that a call came in at approximately 11:07 p.m., reporting that the Mountaineer Mart on Lochgalley Road near Oak Hill was being robbed at gunpoint.
The Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Oak Hill Police and West Virginia State Police all responded to the scene.
No further details were available at the time of writing.
