LEWISBURG -
The Lewisburg Lions Club held their fourth annual spring golf tournament fundraiser Wednesday.
Each year the Lions Club has two fundraisers to help raise money for local charities.
Ben Lewis, chair of the golf tournament and a Lions Club member, said the organization is known for providing eye glasses and eye care for those who cannot afford the care on their own.
Seven registered teams teed-off at the Lewisburg Elk's Country Club to support the Lion's Club and to have a chance at various prizes.
The main prize was a chance to win a brand new car from Bill Lewis Motors.
If anyone was lucky enough to hit a hole-in-one on the fifth hole, they got to ride away in a new car.
The Lewisburg Lion's Club will use the money to go toward eye care for the less fortunate and to provide assistance to charities in the area.
